CI Crisis response unit training

CI Crisis response unit training program designed to prepare, train and certify your team, firefighters, police officers, Chaplains and other First responders in their response to people experiencing crises and trauma for the first responder. (vicarious trauma, trauma debriefing, PTSD, critical situational stress debriefing, suicide awareness, Trauma informed care for adults and children, grief, and bereavement)

. The goals of the curriculum include: 

  • Expanding first responders’ knowledge of different kinds of trauma.​​​
  • Crisis intervention debriefing unit.
  • Understanding critical situational stress.
  • Helping with and understanding crisis situations.
  • Supporting first responders’ safety and wellness.
  • Building a peer support team.

CI provides training to First Responders to aid in emergency incidents. This one day 8-hour training is offered to any first responders, city, state, and US government agencies.

First Responders undergo rigorous training to deal with a wide array of potential psychological emergencies. Due to the high levels of stress and pressure associated with their role, First Responders are encouraged to maintain optimal physical and mental health. Even with such preparation, First Responders often heroically confront the personal challenges that accompany these traumatic, emotionally demanding situations.

First Responders are called to the task of detecting and assessing emergencies so that they may rescue its potential victims in time.
